Bargain Alert!

Hello Fatshionistas!!

I hope all is well.
You saw my previous post about the items I adored from the DKNY for Lane Bryant Collection, right? I'm sure you felt my anguish after seeing the price.

Well I happened to be at Burlington Coat Factory this past weekend, and I found the military shirt dress for $19.99. It has the same pockets and its the same color. The bottom hem is the same, only the belt is a heavier weight on the DKNY.

They even have the sequin camo tank, but in a blue camo. That one is only $9.99.

So go and check that out ladies.

DKNY at Lane Bryant

I wasn't very impressed with the collaboration between Lane Bryant and DKNY. There was only one item that grabbed my attention and at $59.00, I will not be wearing it anytime soon.
Camo Sequin Tank $59.00

I did however get an idea for an outfit from one of the pictures in the Lane Bryant Catalog.

DKNY Shirtdress $89.00

I have this exact dress but in black. I might have to raise the hem a little though.

Stay tuned to my youtube channel to see this outfit of the day.

Military Trend a la cheap cheap!!

I wasn't too sure about the whole military trend, but I wanted to try it out. I am not a big fan of cargo pants. I just figured they would make my legs look wider. Fortunately, the cargo trend is for a more fitted and tapered cargo pant.

I had seen some really nice olive green skinny jeans at Target but they were $29.99. That's a little pricey for Target, and even more pricey for my wallet.

So my goal was to find some dark green cargos at my favorite thrift store, and this is what i found.

Needless to say, they are not exactly "trendy", buy they have potential.
They were only $3.50.
Just the right amount for a trend that I don't think will last very long.

They need some work, so stay tuned to my youtube channel to see how I make these work.

Sequin Overload!!

I have really been loving the whole sequin shoe craze.
Especially the Ralph Lauren black sequin flats.

I was especially estatic when i discovered that Converse, which I have been wearing forever and a day, have joined the sequin movement.

I absolutely love these!! Unfortunately, they cost three times as much as the plain chuck taylors.
I can't stop thinking about them, so they shall be mine.

Terrible Two's ? And Three's , And Fours...

I was suppose to put up my outfits of the week video on youtube, but I can't find my camera. My two year old likes hiding things, and he is very good at it.

Since it's a holiday weekend, I decided i wanted to take out the carpet in my living room. Then i figured since i was gonna put new tile I midas well paint .

I'm a little over my head, but it's too late now.

I'm just gonna post a video, with pictures that I already have.

I'm tempted to do a haul, but even though I like watching haul videos, I don't think they are my style.

We'll see what happens. I might be doing a haul with a new camera, if I can't find mine.
